Malwina Kowalska is a multidisciplinary performance artist based in Bergen (Netherlands), who explores the boundaries between performing arts, visual art, and live interaction. Her artistic manifestations consist of immersive performance installations, theatrical art experiences, and performances in which she invites her audience to feel through sensory experience.

She questions how humans are shaped by society, their personal experiences, their cultural heritage and explores from there how they can better relate to themselves and the world around them. Drawing on research into ritual, embodied practise and forms of play, she designs artistic journeys that heighten participants awareness of who they are, encounter their own stories, inviting them to experience themselves again, differently.

From the artist village Ecodorp Bergen, where she lives and carries out her art practice, she researches and lives through these themes. She presents her work nationally and internationally, in outdoor and indoor locations alike -in nature, villages, and cities, as well as museums, galleries, and art festivals.

Malwina holds a Research Master's in Art and Culture Studies from Utrecht University, a bachelor's in Film, Media and Theatre Studies from Utrecht University, and a degree in Theatre Dance from the theater academy Amsterdam
