Continuing the Experiment: A Laboratory for Ritual, Art, and interaction

In june 2021 we transformed with Planeet Bergen a 100 square meters Bunker into an experimental & artistic venue.

This space marks the next chapter of my journey, a direct continuation of the research and energy ignited by Orange the Room. Moving beyond the traditional format of a venue, we transformed this location into a living laboratory. Here, we shifted our focus from simply combining art disciplines to a deeper, more urgent question: How can we pull art and culture out of commercial spaces and place them back into a meaningful, ritual context?

We noticed a growing disconnect in how people experience art and culture today. Art has largely become a product to be passively consumed. In this laboratory, we decided to break that cycle by replacing passive consumption with active participation. We wanted to stimulate people to experience art as a powerful form of social relaxation and inspiration, a shared playground where the boundary between the artist and the audience completely dissolves.

Together with a diverse collective of artists and an open-minded public, we created a sanctuary for connection. We explored how art can be seamlessly reintegrated into the core of human culture: through gathering, authentic bonding, and ritual empowerment.

By reimagining the traditions of going out, we turned nightlife and leisure time back into what it was always meant to be, a space for deep emotional release, collective strength, and a profound sense of belonging that feeds both the individual and the community.

The aim of this project is to (co)create, to meet up and to dip ourselves into artistic explorations. To come home together in the heart of creation.
